Clearview Elementary Earns EcoSchools U.S. Silver Certification!

We are thrilled to announce that Clearview Elementary School has achieved EcoSchools U.S. Silver Certification! This prestigious designation recognizes our school's commitment to environmental education and action. A huge part of this achievement goes to the tireless efforts of our Outdoor Learning teacher and Eco-Club Sponsor, Jeanne Lukas-Ross. Mrs. Lukas-Ross's dedication has been instrumental in guiding our students towards a deeper understanding of the natural world and inspiring them to take action to protect it.

Our Eco-Club, under the enthusiastic leadership of Mrs. Lukas-Ross, has been a hive of activity! Students have been busy creating amazing projects that benefit the environment right here at Clearview. Here are just a few highlights:

• Bug Hotel: This cozy haven provides a safe haven for a variety of insects, promoting biodiversity and helping with pest control in a natural way.
• Butterfly Waystation: This beautiful garden provides essential food and shelter for butterflies, helping these vital pollinators thrive.
• Habitat Heroes: Students have been actively learning about the different habitats found around Clearview and the creatures that call them home. This newfound knowledge has empowered them to become advocates for the wildlife in our schoolyard.
