READING BY 3RD GRADE      AREA 1
Outcomes       
● By June 2025, our ML students will show at least 6% growth as measured by WIDA from June 2024 to June 2025.
● By June 2025, grade level cohorts will show a 5% increase in our unadjusted reading scores as measured by the SOL (grades 4-6) or VALLS (grades K-3).
        
Strategies       
● Increase teacher content knowledge of evidence-based literacy instruction aligned with science-based reading research to improve implementation of new core curriculum.
● Improve integrity of implementation of new core curriculum, English Language Development program, and/or intervention programs by using FCPS-adopted resources with fidelity.
● Increase use of data to plan instruction and monitor progress during intervention to ensure that students demonstrating risk master foundational skills.
● Increase use of intentional opportunities for talk for all students especially our MLs
● Family & Community Partnership: Engage families in regular, two-way communication about student learning and healthy development.
  
        
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MATH      AREA 2
Outcomes       
● By June 2025, our students with IEPs will show an increase from -1.4% to 5% growth as measured by the math SOL. 
● By June 2025, grade level cohorts will make a 5% increase in unadjusted pass rate as measured by the SOL. In addition, 10% more students will make typical annual growth as measured by iReady in the primary grades from fall 2024 to spring 2025.
        
Strategies       
● Increase teachers' content knowledge and implementation of the 2023 FCPS mathematics program of studies.
● Increase teacher's implementation strategies related to Shift 8: from looking for correct answers towards revealing student thinking.
● Increase formal collaboration between classroom teachers and ESOL teachers to develop the language of mathematics through the use of embedded strategies during whole group and small group instruction.
  
        
CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM      AREA 3
Outcomes       
● Clearview will have at least 92% of all students in grades K-6 (including all subgroups) with less than 10% absences. Students in grades K and 1 will have at least 85% of students with less than 10% absences.
        
Strategies       
● MTSS Schoolwide and Site Intervention teams analyze attendance along with behavior and wellness data bi-monthly to identify students in need of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
● Teachers will promote student engagement and create a welcoming classroom environment by modeling social and emotional competencies in their interactions with students.
● Schools will share multilingual attendance materials with families throughout the year to educate families regarding the importance of attendance for school success.
