Mr. Redford brings with him 19 years of knowledge and experience working for FCPS.  He earned his B.A. in psychology from the University of Connecticut and his teaching license and Master’s in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.  During his professional career, Mr. Redford has taught 5^th grade inclusion, 5^th grade general education, 5^th grade advanced academics, and 6^th grade general education.  He was an influential teacher leader at Sangster Elementary School and Hunters Woods Elementary School for the Arts and Sciences and helped to bring Responsive Classroom practices with a focus on teacher language into each classroom.  For the past two years, Mr. Redford has served as the assistant principal at Mosaic Elementary School where he quickly built strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
